Problem
Employee records spread across systems are slow to find and easy to get wrong; this API keeps them in one place, behind authenticated access.
Outcome
Built along Dave Gray's course: users register and sign in for a JWT, renewed by refresh-token rotation, then manage employee records kept in MongoDB through Mongoose. CORS limits which sites may call it, and the endpoints are documented with OpenAPI in Swagger UI.
